“In May of 2020, we engaged John Zajac to perform a branch profitability analysis for one of our offices and evaluate our current debit card processor. He proposed alternative vendors to reduce our processing expense. The changes John proposed after his review of the branch and new debit card vendor will create a total savings for our credit union of over $100,000. John’s role was expanded to act as our CFO and he quickly learned the capabilities of our core operating system. He introduced an executive information report which I receive daily that monitors balance sheet changes, liquidity ratios, and changes in the number of members.
